So awesome! Yeah for chicks and your new bator. I'm so excited to candle on monday. Being a horticulture nut, it's a long wait I'm acustom to already. That said, will it please hurry up!
Put in a post today... Who knew 4 ft was so far down. Going for the auger in the morning! Conan has had it with the coop! I saw a scene from "Animal farm" unfolding when I opened the coop door this morning! I was twenty minutes late, as if they had a clock. Two at the door,Conan tried to come over the top! Ha... Not on my watch pal!!! Gave me a chance to hug him. His hackle is so pretty. My grandfather would have a tackle box full of flies with this guy. I'll just admire him for now.
Seems like enough time has past, is it Monday yet? Lol have a great night all! Stay warm and powered!

Looks like I am the first to post today. Where is everyone, not out enjoying the sun and warmth I'm sure. It's snowing here and looks like a nice weekend to stay in and enjoy the wood stove. Wish I could bring in all my critters. Hey junkmanme, my last little dachshund is named Daniel Boone We call him Danel' he's precious. BC you have more babies coming congrats!! Greenskeeper you don't have frozen ground? How about a pic of Conan I love the look of roos. Hen Thymes how are those chicks doing today? Talk to ya soon Have a good'un....

Hi Miss Lydia! Thank you for asking, the chicks are doing great! They are alert and eat/drinking well. I look at them and then at my 23 day old bantam orps and they look sooo tiny, and I was thinking my 23 day olds were tiny.

I forget how small and precious they are when they first hatch.

My 23 day old bantam orps are coming along well. The little blue I believe is going to have some lacing and I am very excited about that. Now if it's pullet I will be doing great!

MY present Boxer, named "Davey Crockett" is the Son of my previous Boxer, Daniel Boone...we called him "Boone".
