Hi. Im hoping some one can either help me understand agritourism laws for north carolina or point me in the right direction. I am not a farm, I have 7acres of land. I want to host goat educational classes in my propert with my own animals. I have goats chickens and ducks. From my understanding I need to post the warning sign on my property, see below. But does doing this alone cover me if someone were to get hurt? Do I need liability insurance?
I would also do a waiver
Warning
Under North Carolina law, a farm animal activity sponsor or farm animal professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in farm animal activities resulting exclusively from the inherent risks of farm animal activities. Chapter 99E of the North Carolina General Statutes."
