Lost 2 baby chicks to fire ants

I have a broody hen sitting. She has hatched 2 eggs and the fire ants got them. The ants are literally eating my hen to death as well. I have moved her to storage shed with eggs and put natural powder under the crate nest. What is the best ant killer to get and is there something i can dust my chicken with?
 
Try using seven dust. You should be able to dust the area and not really have to put it directly on her. Just make sure you have picked all the ants off her. I have had to use seven on baby chicks and the mom before for mites. I dusted some ants yesterday and they started dying immediately. Very satisfying.
