I have Lemon Baranah Chicken that is just standing around and not moving with the others. its breathing is abit heavier than the others and a clear liquid comes from its mouth. its drinking but not eating lots. and its poo is a runny white colour and sometimes has hard pieces in too. anyone any ideas please?

How old is this chicken? With these symptoms it could be a lot of things depending on age. Coccidiosis could be a possibility, and Corid (amprollium) is the treatment for it. Have you wormed them recently? Is she laying eggs? If she is older, egg yolk peritonitis could be possible. Look her over for mites and lice, and feel of her breast bone to check weight. Puffy slow crop may be a symptom of her illness, but if the liquid coming from her crop is foul smelling it could be sour crop.

The chicken has just sadly passed away. after passing away alot of brown fluid has come up from the mouth. is this a sign that she had sour crop?? her crop was constantly full during her last couple of days.

Sorry for your loss. That does sound like it could have been sour crop. It occurs usually after a longstanding impacted crop, but from what I have read can also be fungal. Some vets will treat will both antibiotics and anti-fungals, but from all I read, there is not good success treating sour crop. Much of the advice for treatment is contradictory(ie.-ACV or no AVC, vomiting a chicken or too dangerous, ect.) The best treatment is to get the crop flushed out with water early on, but many don't realize there is a problem until later. Here are a couple of links to read about crop problems:

No sour crop is not contagious. Check their crops in the mornings to make sure they are emptying. Long strands of grass are sometimes the cause of impacted crop, which can lead to sour crop.
