My broodys eggs hatched yesterday and the last on through the night, she hatched 4 eggs she'd sat on and I slipped under 3 more chicks yesterday whilst the last egg was still hatching. She didnt notice id added them and was no issues until this morning. She is pecjing SOME of her chicks, not all. It is not exclusively the added chicks either but all chicks that are light in colour. There is two black chicks and she has not touched them once. The remaining 5 she goes for whenever she sees them. She has not hurt them yet, neither do I want her too, but why is she singling out the light chicks (two of which are her hatched chicks) and how can I discourage her?! I'm preparing to perhaps having to remove them but really would have loved the broody to raise them.

If they are not being injured, you could give her a bit more time. This is how a mama communicates with her chicks. She may just be showing who is in charge, she may be trying to get their attention or to do what she is doing, she may be showing them a good bit of food, etc.

If she diecides to kill one for some reason, it will be pretty quick and violent.

I find it kind of strange shes only attacking the light chicks. The black ones are getting no pecks, they sit in front of her and shes showing them food and clucking with them then a light one pops out from under her and she lecks till its ran back under her?! She hasn't injured one yet but I dont want to walk out to a dead chick either :-/

Also the onenof the black one is pecking mummy hens eyes and pulling her wattles and she couldnt care less...the lights are getting all the grief?!
