I have pekin and love their egg size. I was wondering if anything lays bigger eggs in the duck family. I run saxony cayuga ancona pekin and rouen now.
What duck breed lays the biggest eggs?

My experience is limited, but I have not seen eggs bigger than a Pekin's. Duck eggs, I mean.

Perkin and Jumbo Perkin on the high side. Grimaud Hybrid Pekin on the low side.

Perkins do lay a very big egg but our Aylesbury ducks beat them in egg size by quite a bit , I'm not sure whether it was the strain of Aylesbury ducks we got but I have never seen eggs as big as them.
