Ooooooo I love those white earlobes!!

That is some kind of a mix tho, not Leghorn with that funky comb...not even sure what kind of comb that is.

Might be a buttercup comb:


Might want to post a thread over on the 'What breed is this' forum to find out what he is mixed with.
 
Sorry I didn't get a better shot. He's quick and i was blocking the door with an arm and leg. I don't want him out of his run for a full 2 weeks, then he can free range within his electric fence for the remaining two of his quarantine.

I did not know that! :D What a comb!
Now I want one....wanted one before but didn't know they came with rose combs.
 
Aart: Oh yes they do! I have 3 rose comb brown leghorns. There are actually quite a few colors of leghorns with rose combs. Check out the exchecker (? sp.) They're nice little birds, but they're quite flighty. I'll over look that in admiration of their rose comb, their beauty, and the beautiful white eggs that complete my colorful egg basket. Absolutely beautiful roo, WthrLady. I hope you are blessed with good health with him. I agree with a previous poster, that you would be wise to move one of your girls in with him for the last week of his quarantine.
