Yep - that is very much like a lot of the eggs I get from the Light Brahmas in our flock.  Having never kept this particular breed prior to this time around I have no idea if I just got four weirdos or what, lol.

Where are we going, and why are we in this hand basket?

I have some new birds just starting to lay and we keep getting a round one with hard red "scab" type thing on it. Not sure if she has bad "plumbing" or what is going on. Any ideas?

I have a tiny old english bantam that started laying couple weeks ago, her eggs so far are perfectly round. Today's egg was a perfect golf ball. But all the rest of my chickens lay normal ones. So it's probably a breed thing.
