2015 New York Chickenstock

Gramma Chick - I will certainly try to sprout one as soon as spring shows them coming up - and that way - if it lasts 2 months - you know the roots have taken hold ! :) $5 only - as they will be small shoots ... should look great in just 2 years - but there you go ! I love this one as it was here and mature when we bought the place 10 years ago .... so you know it is a nice classic variety and it smells so good.

Does anyone here have any 'friendship' willow for sale/barter?? It's the shrubby kind of willow that makes windbreaks, also great for basket making.........

In the plant dept. I hope to have some red beebalm, lambs ears, agastache, sage, lemon balm, oregano, sweet woodruff along with veggie seedlings. If someone has something particular they want in the herb line, let me know - if I have it, I'll bring it.

That works ...How are we on the blue chicken egg thing ?.
Will you be hatching or just selling eggs ?
I prefer a hatched chicken pullet ..I hate incubating ...I am a basket case for 21 + days ...
Or a Broody hen ...none so far this year ..
I think they are getting close though ..
2 of them that went broody last year were in a chicken fight today ..
TT my little Sumatra took on a hen 3 times her size ...
she is Feisty ...but gentle as a Lamb with me ..even when she is broody ..I can look at her eggs
Lucky my Roo broke it up so I didnt have too.

I'm not sure about blight - but I do have the parent tree here - and it is at least 30 years old - the ones in the picture are only 3 years old ! :) They fruited a little in that 3rd year. Birds beat me to most - but that was my fault. Nutty - I have you down for 2 plums at $5 each - you can cancel or add - Gramma Chick - sure - I'll see if there are any shoots off - but I didn't want to promise - I know for sure I only potted 2 in mid summer and they did great all summer long - I've mulched them and so they should be fine - just asking $5.00 as of course - they are not super big like one you get from a store.

Also - Nutty - I haven't put in my order yet - but below is what I for sure want to buy from you - and the list of all I have on reserve for others - If anyone out there wants to not do it - it is TOTALLY fine with me - I just need a list to make sure I have it all straight and all the trees tagged so everyone gets what they are expecting :)

BRINGING HUNK OF TWINE - bringing wine for raffle - bringing flavored snack crackers for adults dipping and kids grabbing.

Still going to bring organic lip balm and body lotion - will have different scents and fragrance free (which still smells a little like beeswax)
That is good just wanted to make sure I said at least 2 of them

Gramma: I don't have an incubator - so I was going to bring fertile eggs - that way you can see that what I have is called "blue" by the very best in the business - and I think the business is colorblind. :) ha ha ha I could try to get Pyxis to hatch out some and then you could see the eggs and the peeps and decide - would be straight run as they are not autosexing. OR if I have a broody in time - I'll put some of these eggs under her - but I won't take all the peeps she hatches out - I LOVE momma chickies around the place.

Boskelli I have a very nice regular willow tree - I could see if I can get any to start in a pot for you .... we could trade for oregano, wintergreen or some other herb you have around.

That would be great! If you could get 2 going - even better!

I have greek(mild) & italian(spicy) oregano - both very different tastes. I will also have chives, catnip & mint in addition to the others mentioned. The sage plant I have has spawned many babies, it's into it's 7th year now! If there is anything special you want let me know.

Cool - will do !

Can oregano grow in our climate as a perennial ? If so I'd like both types ... if not - then just some for current use and a sage baby. :)

I'm all about making my place a perennial producer of anything I can .... I tend to not do well with annual gardening - like peppers and tomatoes - so gave up on them for now.

I will be bringing some veggie starts (tomatoes and peppers) organically grown $3 each

I will have a few light purple lilac saplings, hostas (green or veragated) day lilies (yellow) $5 each
