We hatched out 6 farm eggs because one of our buff orpingtons was broody and we are not allowed to have a rooster.
So, we are unsure of the breed because we got the eggs from a friends farm and they had been fertilized by a rooster but we don't know what breed the mother and father were. We have already had to return 3 of the 6 because they were clearly roosters with sickle feathers that were prominent and they had big comb and waddles. But this chick, at 3 months , looks like a hen but looks like it may have the tell take siclel feathers. we are just not sure. any help would be appreciated on sex and breed.
