Pheasants as pets

It depends on the line of ringnecks. The ones from wild or hunting stock are more likely to be very wild.

Some lines just are naturally calm and very tame-able. I had blueback ringnecks that were pretty calm and one male in particular was so tame I could pick him up and pet him. I didn;t even try to make pets out of them on purpose... this one kept jumping up onto my legs shoulders and arms so I started to pet him.

Only had one silver, he was just like any regular chicken. Very tame. Same with blue eareds.

Many goldens are easily tameable, to the point I could call them and they would fly up onto my arms for feed or treats.

Oh, most of them were also free range. :)
