Any idea what's going on? I have terra-vet 10 on hand. Should I start dosing?

I've noticed some rumbling in her chest as she talks. The bad eye is slightly open today, but very gunky. Could it mycoplasma?

I'm thinking about getting some tylan soluble and cleaning out all the litter in the run floor, which is a mixture of pine needles and grass clippings. It has been pretty wet weather the past couple weeks. The inside of the coop is a mixture of sand and sweet PDZ that is cleaned once a week.

It looks like she is sick. My cuckoo Orp just recovered ...I nursed her twice this winter. Put your baby in whatever you use for a sick crate. Get her warm. I used Tylan 50... 1cc every day for ten days. I injected her the first day, then gave it to her orally after than. Then, backed off after that. She ended up being in the garage for almost three weeks. This has been a hard winter on some of my chickens, especially this one Orp girl. I thought I was going to lose her. I also make sure they get water. When they are sick, I use a clean syringe filled with water, and slowly give it to them. Make sure she doesn't dehydrate. Good luck!

She is more lethargin today than yesterday, I did watch her eat some pellets though. I dosed 1/2 cc tylan 50 in her right breast today after reading some old threads on here. I will continue the next 3 days at that dosage alternating breasts and see how she does. I wanted to get tylan soluble and treat all three girls through their water but it was just too expensive.

When my girl got so sick...I had nothing to lose. So, I dosed her at 1cc every day orally, for almost two weeks. I gave her injections for two days, then orally after that. After a week, she wasn't getting better, so I also put tetracycline in her water...in case the Tylan didn't get it. She's fine today...but, I was so worried.. Make sure she is taking wate. You can give her the Tylan orally...

I am treating 1/2 cc Tylan 50 injected into alternating sides of the breast each evening.

Day of first treatment.

Day after first treatment.

Day after second treatment

Day after 3rd treatment.

She looks worse in the last picture than she did yesterday evening. I waited real late to do the shot tonight, so maybe she was just tired and groggy? I just administered the 4th shot. Should I stop or continue dosing through 7 days?

My girl looked like that...keep treating her, you don't have anything to lose. I didn't inject as often, can be hard on them, I gave orally after two days, up the dose to 1cc. I did 1cc for ten days..then reduced it down. It seemed to take forever for her to get better...keep treating her. I'm sure glad I kept it up...she's good now, and she looked worse than your girl...keep trying!
