My small flock of Flower Hens are from two different bloodlines including: Greenfire Farms which were responsible for importing this wonderful chicken into this country in 2010. I only select the most colorful birds my breeding program.
These hardy birds take both cold and hot weather extremes very well. This breed lays plenty of medium sized eggs for you and your family. As a matter of fact, my daughter's Swedish Flower Hen won best production hen at the county fair. These birds have great dispositions and their ability to forage freely or do well in a pen make them the perfect family chicken breed.

We are tested yearly for pullorum-typhoid and are clean...
