Wondering who's all in Kansas!
raising chickens have recently became a hobby of mine & my husbands. Would LOVE to find Buff Orpingtons. Currently own Silkies.

I was away for a couple days, but yeah she's a min pin. She is alot of fun and thinks she is a big dog, just in a small package.
 
Missed this while off- had to cut BYC out of my life for a bit to get some work done!!

I'm in Lawrence, often wondering where all of the chicken owners are in ks! Glad to see a few more- I'll drop a bump in on the other KS thread, too- we ought to hit it once in a while!

I live in Longton, Kansas. I have raised chickens for many many years. Right now I have RIR's, 14 pullets and 1 Roo, they will start laying any day now. A few setting hens, 3 Buff Orpingtons and one Buff/Australorp cross hen. Kansas's oldest Australorp Roo and a few Austrlorp hens and my Buff/Australorp crosses. Oh and my very pretty Silkie/Buff and Silkie/Australorp hens, (one of each).
A few ancient banties too.
I also have my NZWhite rabbits, Boer and LaMancha goats.
