Duramycin/Tetracycline Dosage?

1/8 teaspoon = 0.616115 ml
1/4 teaspoon = 1.23223 ml
1/3 teaspoon = 1.64297 ml
1/2 teaspoon = 2.46446 ml

800 mg dose is 15/128 = 0.1171875 ml per ounce

400 mg dose is 7.5/128 = 0.05859375 ml per ounce

400 mg
one cup (8 ounces) = 0.05859375 x 8 = 0.46875, which is a little less than 1/8 teaspoon

two cups (16 ounces) = 0.05859375 x 16 = 0.9375, which is a little less than 1/4 teaspoon
That bottle of water (16.9 ounces) = 0.05859375 x 16.9 = 0.99, which is also a little less than
1/4 teaspoon
20 ounces of water (2.5 cups) = 0.05859375 x 20 = 1.171875, which is really darn close to 1/4 teaspoon

If I were you I would put 1/4 teaspoon in the 16.9 ounce bottle of water.

Ok thank youuu. My brother saw me struggling with all the math and just put some in the water with no measurements so I don't know how that's gonna go but tomarrow I'll go by your directions, thank you again! :D

I'm just getting more and more confused, I'm sorry I'm so difficult, math and such is REALLY not my strong points
So sorry... the math isn't easy for me and I have to work it out as I go. Hope it's more clear now. FYI, I had Mr. Math confirm that my post are correct, and they are.

One gallon is has 16 cups, so if the dose for one gallon is one tablespoon (15 ml), then you divide
15 by 16, which is 0.9375ml per 8 ounces. There are 1.23 ml in a 1/4 teaspoon, so you want slightly
less than 1/4 teaspoon per 8 ounces for the 800 mg level, or slightly less than 1/8 teaspoon for the
400mg level.

Used this dose for my injured 10wk pullet. The 800 mg level. Kathy said she doses everyone at the max. I thought also, Why fuss with underdoing?

I used 2 cups (glass measuring for liquids) and 1/4 tsp. Used that water to wet her food and drinking for 7 days.

She didn't die. And is out running around the yard right now.
