Aaran nodded,"Yeah! And it's more convenient too. Opening the void can't be that hard, but to learn to drive you have to study and practice for months."
Ray smiled and ignored him,"Hey Tay! Call me okay?" He hugged her tightly,"I'm going back to college soon so we need to catch up soon. Hamburgers later?" He grinned.
Taylor smiled widely,"That sounds awesome!" She was really glad they had calmed down,"I'll call you later. I'm a little busy right now but I think tomorrow, usual place usual time, will work."
"Take care!" He called as he was walking away.
Taylor smiled and turned back to Nashton,"He's great, isn't he? We've been friends for forever. I'm sorry he was acting so weird, he's just a little overprotective. He's like a big brother to me."
Kristen nodded, stepped back, and shifted. Everything was okay so she shifted back. Still okay. "Yeah we're good." She shifted back to her Oilin form,"You ready?"
Nashton grinned a little and walked to the elevator. He pressed the button and watched the floors tick off. He did like the guy and his Taylor grabattitude.(my own word. )
Orson smiled and nodded. "Yes, lovely. I'm ready. " He said as he shifted to his Oilin. He nuzzled her before he took off with a romp.
Aaran grinned,"They're cool though. It's pretty amazing how far humans have gotten without magic. Their inventions are cool, but their culture is not. It's pretty messed up at this point.." He frowned, deep in thought.
Taylor nudged him with her shoulder,"Sugar britches? Really?" She laughed,"What was up with you down there?"
Kristen raced after him, determined to beat him back to Jackie's.
