Hej I want to thank all of you guys you are just great! Specialky Amy is a real chicken expert!! I decided to unwrap the big guy ;) after 26 hours.. :eek: I was worried because of this blood veins at the membrane.. but 26 hours.. at the beginning I took wet pads wih warm water and changed them every 5 min to make the membrane softer.. after that it took 4 hours the blood veins were nearly gone.. but he won't move.. I thought ooh maybe it's the yolk that he hasn't absorbed.. but now everythig is oooook :D took him out of the shel first to see if there is a yolk through the membrane but there wasn't what a luck!!! Now the guy is a bit torkling around and sleeping and falling over bit he's alive! :D I really love the Backyard Chicken site ;) and the people here ..the link of asisted hatchig was too a great help!
