July 2015 Hatch A Long HAL

I have a quick question. Three others have pipped (y'all were so right. As soon as she hatched & started peeping they became motivated to do the same) but haven't zipped yet (I know, they will take their time. They are some huge fans of taking their sweet time haha) but I left her in there to snuggle with the eggs, get nice and dry, and peep to her sisters so she wouldn't be lonely in the brooder. She is quiet & restful in there so I know she is not unhappy. Problem is, she is pecking her sisters through their pip holes. Is this normal? Nothing to worry over? Leave her be? Or move her to the brooder? I didn't really want to open it with three pips going on.

Three pips that I can see, anyways. Little Ms. Fluffy McNinja Pants over here must have pipped on the bottom side of the egg facing down, because I didn't even know she was working on hatching until she was about five min from kicking right out of her shell

Great progress and pics everyone.

My broody that hatched the two chicks lost one chick the night before last. I found it dead in the morning and it was not under mama hen :(  Will see how id does with the one chick left.

I'm sorry :'(

I don't have a clue. I would probably leave her. I wouldn't want to open it either with pips going on.

Number 3 for the broody hatched and we finally have a pip in the incubator!
400

So I have 2 eggs in the incubator on day 21. Still no pips or anything. I also just had delivered 14 eggs that were layed between Friday-Sunday. I want to set them but don't know if I can. I don't want to lose these eggs cause they are rare breeds. Any suggestions?

Progress pic! She's shouting and kicking like crazy!

I'm worried because only one other one has pipped. Hopefully I see some action on the others soon :-(

If you received the eggs today you probably should let them rest in egg carton pointy end down for at least 24hrs so that will give the 2 eggs in the bator another day to pip and hatch. Crossing my fingers for you
