Hello! I am posting this for certainty as I am not quite sure what to do. I have a young Light Brahma, about four and a half weeks old, and I am starting to doubt on whether or not it is indeed a cockerel or a pullet. Its feathers look different from the other one. It is mostly those neck...
hey all! i’m new to light brahmas. this is Buttercup, ~3 weeks old. she’s much darker than her sisters, her toe feathers are all dark as well. Will she grow up to have the standard light brahma look or will she stay darker? Thanks in advance!
I know brahmas take a while to mature and can be difficult to see gender. I’m curious about this one as I know I potentially have at least 1 maybe 2 cockerels already. Please say pullet, please say pullet 🙏🏼😂

Hi friends!
I got day old chicks today from my local farm store. All of the chickens but one is fine. They’re all active, eating and drinking, but I have one light Brahma who cannot walk, and won’t eat or drink. She chirps, but nothing else. When I first put her in the brooder, she would kind of...

Hey everyone! I picked up a single supposed full size white Brahma chick the other day. Long story behind that, anyway the lady I got her from said she’s about 7 weeks, but she’s much smaller than my 5 week old EE. Was wondering your thoughts.
Hi everyone!
So I've incubated and hatched some chicken eggs but lost some in the process. I'm worried that I might have done the temperature and humidity wrong. I've been searching the internet about the ideal temperature and humidity. Some say around 50-60% humidity with 102 degrees for...
Just wondering since this is going to be my first time putting on leg bands. I have 6 Light Brahma pullets(3 weeks old) that I cant tell apart so I’m getting them leg bands. Do leg bands cause any problems to their legs? I feel like leg bands would squeeze too tight on their legs.
Just asking...
