    Cracked Corn

    Can chicks eat cracked corn ground up into almost a powder without grit? Or do they still need grit regardless of if its a powdery food? thanks!!

    Chicken feet?

    Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask. I had a 4 month old chick die from the cold weather and it had been outside for 2 days. The feet are still flexible. Can I remove them and clean them/wash them up and give to dogs to chew? Or should it be tossed? Thanks so very much for any help!!

    Mixing Feeds?

    Is it ok to mix Flock Party Rising chick feed, and Flock Party Egg Maker Crumbles together for adult quail? The Chick feed has 22% Protein but the Egg Maker has only 16% I want the higher protein but also want the calcium. Is it a good idea to mix the to bags of feed together? Thanks so very much!!

    Sand As Bedding

    What sand can I use for bedding? I know you can't use play sand, but all I have access to are tractor supply, Home depot, Lowes, and ace. Do I get medium sand commercial grade sand? Or Washed All Purpose sand? Multi purpose sand? Any help would be much appreciated Thanks!!
