Anna smiled. "Hey guys." She shut the door and walked into the middle of the room. She sat down on the floor.
Bucky ran over and licked her, waiting attention.

Kia whined a little and looked to the door before walking over to sniff at Anna

Anna held out her hand for Kia. "You miss your girl huh?" She used her free hand to rub Bucky's head.

Kia whined again, but sniffed then licked Anna's hand. She wanted to be near Bell.

Mark came back to Josh's freezer with a tray of food. He opened the door and brought the tray inside "Here you go"

Anna sighed. "I don't see why Mark has you guys apart. It's not like you could help them anyway." She gently petted Kia and Bucky.
Josh set down the sword and took the tray.

Mark had only separated them to make any escape attempt that much harder. Kia sat down and tilted her head at Anna as if listening to her words.

Mark smiled and went back to the door "You do make nice swords"

Anna loved dogs, even if they weren't hers. "If I had my guitar I could play for you. Not like I have anything else to do." she petted Kia and played with Bucky's ears.
Bucky laid down and rested his head on Anna's lap.

Josh laughed. "Thanks. This is far from my best work, trust me."

Kia soon lay down beside the girl, glad for the attention and affection.

Mark smiled and looked to the sword then to Josh "They could still be lethal"

Anna smiled. "You guys want food?"

Josh frowned. "Yeah I guess..."

Kia lifted her head and looked to the bowls, empty now, near the door.

Mark shrugged. So long as Josh didn't try to hurt them, he would be treated with as much kindness as he could show.
