x2 on it being citrus - I have a couple of lemons I grew from seed that look very similar.Can't remember what kind of seed I stuck in this pot last winter. Looks like an orange tree seedling.

If you want them to grow big, you have to put them in big pots. I had one when I lived in PA that I put in an old milk box. It was at least 2' tall when I gave it away.How did you get your lemons to grow faster?
Mine have looked the same for months. I can see activity (bark forming, leaves dying) but not much growth and I don’t know what to expect.

If you cramp their root space like you are doing, you are forcing them to stay small.
