Yeah they’re not much bigger I just thought at least separating them would help a bit.I would put them in at least 3 gallon or bigger pots.
Time will tell if it will get better.

Have you previously had success with this method? I tried it once before and the top just got moldy. Would definitely like to grow one, though, and have access to tops with some regularity.Starting a pineapple.

I have had success doing it this way and just putting it in water. Twist the top off of the pineapple, remove the lower leaves to expose the potential roots and plant or suspend in water. Depends. Many of them never get the conditions necessary to bloom. I have had 2 bloom over the years. One was neglected in a west window while I moved. When I went to get it I was surprised to see it in bloom.How long until the baby pineapple starts to become visible?
