1 chick out of 31

I realise I might be being premature here but now that I believe we have finally cracked this hatching business I need some reassurance!

I have 32 eggs in lockdown. It’s day 20 and 1 chick has pipped and hatched in about 2 hours this morning. There is literally no pips or activity from the others.

am I just being impatient? Normally they all pip/hatch pretty close together.

Basically what you are saying is you have one chick early, and are worried none of the others are early. Really, that's what it is.
I'm sure you will get a lot more activity tomorrow, on their due hatch date.

I agree, it’s no need to worry! One egg just happened to hatch before the others, it’s normal and with so many eggs In there I promise there will be lots of hatchers tomorrow

I had 8 eggs, 5 of the 8 hatched between day 20 and 21. My 3 remaining eggs, took their time and hatched day 22 lol
