17 week old Roo or Pullet?

Hi all,

Can someone tell me if this is a roo or a hen? It's been crowing (I know hens can crow, too), but it's also been mounting/going after the other hens. Our other hens have started laying so I honestly can't tell if this is one of the ones laying or not. It's about 17 weeks old now. We thought we got a EE, but not sure what breed it is, either. Thanks all!

Looks like a cockerel, and the crowing pretty much seals the deal.
Hens can crow, but it is almost always the older hen that do. At that age, it is a pretty reliably indicator.

Definitely looks like a cockerel. Easter Eggers come in all shapes and sizes this chicken doesn’t have the beard or pea comb that most Easter eggers have but it does have green legs. I would guess EE or a barn yard mix

Good eye - unfortunately, you're right, there is. We took it to the vet a month ago and the vet said it was a sprain or something and should eventually heal, but takes time.
