1st Hatch! Help!

How's your hatch going?...

Three chicks hatched, then I candled the other three and they didn't internally pip------one of them I thought internally piped around 24 hours ago, so I decided to see what was going on, so I manually pipped the air sack and saw a foot and what I think was a head smaller than a penny

What should I do, I put bacitracin on the membrane so it doesn't dry out

You can put mineral oil on it....Dont mess with the eggs anymore.....I know its stressful but you need to wait it out....

Thanks! I know that I shouldn't mess with them and I regreted touching it, but do you know what that was? Also one of my chicks has hard stuff on it, will it come off by itself?

Yep, they will be fine...It will wear off.....not sure what you mean? What was?

There was what looked like a head smaller than a dime next to a big foot under the air cell, I was asking if that wasn't a head and foot, if they were twins and one stopped developing. Or if it is turned around. :/

They are kind of rolled up in the egg with their head under their wing...That is how the will pip and zip......Not sure what you seen?.......Just wait and see what happens with that one...I do not think it was a twin...Possibly the yolk sack..It will absorb....

Your half way there.....Have the others piped yet?...Do not panicked...It can take hours !!
