Chicks arrived yesterday from Meyer Hatchery. Everything going well. My buff brahma is lively and full of spunk. This morning I noticed her eyes looked a little squinty but thought that maybe she was just tired. I went to check on her around 2:30pm and she is still spunky, but her eyes are totally shut or swollen. What do you recommend? Nothing else seems to be wrong with her and no eye issues in the other chicks either.

An update for anyone following along. I'm pretty sure it was a sign of dehydration. After spending time with the chicks in the evening, I noticed they were having a very hard time getting water out of their waterer. I switched the tip and made sure she (and the others) were able to get enough to drink and now everyone is doing great!

My chicks got here a week and a half ago. I noticed one of my littler chicks had completely closed eyes, but I don't think she arrived like that. I gently wiped her face with a warm wet cotton ball every few hours. The next morning one eye was a little open and after two more cotton ball face baths, she had both eyes open. She's still pretty tiny, going a day without being able to locate food, but she's spunky and doesn't look like there will be a repeat. Have no idea why. Good luck.
