Ok silly question here, are blue shoulder and Indian blue peas the same thing?

I've never heard of blue shoulder,,there is India Blue Black Shoulder

Ok thanks, I just looked them up. So I guess mine are not bs, they are just regular India blue. My hen laid 4 eggs, I can not wait. I hope they all hatch.

What does everyone feed their chicks right away?

I can't get the higher protein 'game' or 'turkey' starter locally so I feed mine medicated chick starter mixed with 1 cup of brewers yeast per 5 lbs of chick feed... The yeast bumps the protein and vitamin levels up closer to a game bird starter, and they seem to love the taste... The specific yeast I use is KAL brand nutritional yeast flakes, and I get it from Amazon as its about half the price there vs the local health food store... The KAL brand is also supplemented with all the extra good vitamin B's that helps the chicks, so it's like giving extra vitamins as well...
