I got these chicken saddles from Amazon they worked great while the lasted! 3 of the 6 survived. I will have to mend the other three as the straps came out of where they were sewn, if I ordered them again I would reinforce those strap seams before putting them on the girls. The ladies didn't mind them at all! It helped one really bad self plucker re-grow her feathers and kept my other ladies from losing feathers due to the rooster! They worked great but definitely reccomend adding reinforcement to where the elastic straps are connected. They were lightweight and allowed for roosting and bathing. The chickens didn't mind them at all and kept the ladies looking nice.

We are getting more pullets so that means we need more nesting boxes. We have 3 right now, but the girls aren’t laying due to molting and the POL haven’t started yet. The chicks we have should be spring layers! I cannot wait to see what the Easter eggers lay for eggs!
