3 day old chick pasty butt

Red swollen looking butt with some discharge on fluff. She is pecking at it, along with a couple of helpers.
What is best treatment?
Was told to rub it with vegetable oil with a q tip...

I usually put just the chicks bottom near warm water spigot, and rub the pasted area between fingers with a little soap, then rinse. Just don’t get the chick too wet, and immediately dry it off and place it back under the heat source. Get the chick to drink water by dipping it’s beak repeatedly for a second, and letting it swallow. This usually happens again until they are a week or ten days old, so check daily. Too hot of a brooder, not taking enough water, or shipping stress can cause this. If the poop is not removed they can die from obstruction.
