We had one that was 46 weeks when she started to lay. She now is my best layer with at least one egg every day. I think she is trying to play catch up.
I had one hatched late April. She was a slow to mature breed. She did not mature before autumn set in and then just waited until spring to start.
If I was a production person she would have been gone, but wanted to give her the chance. I would hope she would come thru for you soon as the days are getting longer finally
