5-6 week old bantam chicks ?breed and gender

I posted this a few weeks back when they were 2-3 weeks. I bought them from a farm shop and they couldn't tell me the breed only that they were bantams.

I also bought two more pure bred Belgian duccles from a breeder and they definitely don't look the same. But I don't think they're 'round' enough in the body to be a pekin.

I thought so too! Always the most charming ones that are boys. So you think the other one is a pullet? She's much more flighty and noisy than the white one who is quite placid.

Could they be a cross of breeds maybe? There aren't too many bantam breeds are there?

There sure are alot of Bantam breeds, your got feathered feet so maybe Cochin? Look up Bantam breeds, there's the true bantams (Serama, Table Tops) then you got the LF that got bantam sizes. The brown one maybe a pullet, keep your fingers crossed. Post more pic in 2wks
