As much as I want people to be safe and feel safe, I worry what effects all this stuff is having on my kids' psyche. I am not organized enough to do homeschooling, I'm barely organized enough to manage paperwork on my own farm!


Although farms have lots of bookkeeping I guess....

Also it's been snowing here since Sunday. So that's all the shoulder season we got this year....

It's hard for social people with all the restrictions. I imagine they feel like they are in solitary confinement.
I have been training for this lockdown most of my life.
To me it's a good excuse to stay home.

Our Halloween plans are unchanged. Kids are too old to take trick or treating. Have been for years (youngest is 22). And our long driveway, about 1/10 mile, means we have never handed out candy as long as we’ve lived here.

You beat me. It only got down to 5°F here. It is all the way up to 26°F now. I did end up with 2 3/4" of the white stuff.

Wow.... you guys please keep your snow over there! It hit about 80 here yesterday and today. They were beautiful days to round out the season!
