My first poult of the season hatched this morning and another one popped out a few minutes ago. I only had 3 eggs due this week but laying is slowly starting back up. Seeing as how these look slate or lavender, I'm guessing it's the young blue girl I have outside. I'm thinking she's a blue Narragansett or lilac possibly? I don't know lol. I need to get a picture of her

The dominant tom bred 4 hens while I was running interference for him from the other toms.
Then 2 other toms were covering different hens at the same time.

I just sold 3 so I think I have around 14 hens. I haven't harvested all the extra boys yet. So there's 4 jakes and 5 toms, one is lame and stays in the coop. He can only breed on flat ground. The older hens prefer him lol
