A different chicken diaper design that does not get their feet stuck to it?

I like to bring a pet chicken inside the house sometimes. From all my experiences with using the different kinds of chicken diapers on the internet, I have noticed that they all have a bottom portion that comes underneath the chicken between the two legs. However this portion of the cloth diaper can sometimes get caught by their feet especially if the chicken bends its legs towards its body. I found on the web a diaper design for baby chicks made from small stretchable socks. As you can see there is a large opening for the legs and the diaper runs sideways instead of the usual top-to-bottom design of regular bird diapers. Could the following design be enlarged from a simple child sock to a men's size sock to fit a standard breed chicken? Has anybody tried this method before?

I found this YouTube video where they used women's socks to fit a young turkey. I guess this design could be made to fit standard size chickens too?
