You’d probably have to change them out frequently, but I feel like those rubbery cabinet inserts could help them not slip. Or even using a bunch of nesting pads situated just right could help?

Hi! I'm new here and just built this same coop. I've noticed my chickens seem to slide on the slick pull-out tray. I have pine shavings in there at the moment but it just slides with them. Any advice?

How much shavings do you have in there? They shouldn't be slipping on a couple of inches on the entire floor.

It's about two inches but not consistent. I definitely need more.
