You’d probably have to change them out frequently, but I feel like those rubbery cabinet inserts could help them not slip. Or even using a bunch of nesting pads situated just right could help?

Also welcome!!Hi! I'm new here and just built this same coop. I've noticed my chickens seem to slide on the slick pull-out tray. I have pine shavings in there at the moment but it just slides with them. Any advice?
It's about two inches but not consistent. I definitely need more. How much shavings do you have in there? They shouldn't be slipping on a couple of inches on the entire floor.
I think I'll try those nesting pads! You’d probably have to change them out frequently, but I feel like those rubbery cabinet inserts could help them not slip. Or even using a bunch of nesting pads situated just right could help?
