I have a hen that has been laying eggs like this one for the last month or so. I'm assuming that it's the same hen because the eggs are all exactly alike. They are about 2 3/4" long and 1 3/4" wide and always have this little fault line in it. The little dark spots on the shell are almost like little flecks of sand. The egg is always very watery, too. They are only a year old so could it be that she's still trying to get the hang of it?
Any ideas??
Eeek...holy big egg picture!!!! Sorry.
