I have read that when you plant those outside of your run and they grow, the chickens will feed on them and they will benefit them for "gut problems".

That was written on a site by a monk that gives some weird advices and tips for chickens.

Does anyone know if those plants benefit chickens in any way? I already planted some small rues i had sprouting around.

Be aware that tansy not only gets quite large, but also is very invasive and hard to get rid of. I planted some near my veggie gardens because it was supposed to deter Japanese beetles, and now we have it all over. Very woody. You can't just pull it up, it needs to be dug out. Plus it smells weird!
