Adequate shelter for a peafowl?

My DH has agreed to construct a shelter for a peafowl this summer, but we are not sure what to build. We live in New England so it is COLD in the winter. A treehouse won't work as we don't have good tall trees (the only pea I know of has a nice treehouse at his farm). Any pointers on what would be needed to keep one warm and healthy? Thank you!

Mine hated the houses, even in the coldest weather. They mostly just like shelter from the wind and rain. A three sided building with a roof and a roost would probably work just great. Have the back side to the north.
