Hi all,

I'm very new to chicken keeping so doing a lot of research now before we get them! Was looking at getting this chicken coop https://www.backyardchickencoops.com.au/products/the-mansion-coop-chicken-run just wondering if any other Australians have bought through them? Was hoping to have up to 10 chickens so want to make sure they get plenty of room. They will also have a mesh fence to free range on the grass during that day that i will move around.

Any tips from others would be appreciated. Unfortunately my husband and I both aren't good with woodwork and would rather pay to have something built :p

The coops look VERY NICE,... The site offers a few different ones. Not sure which one is your FAV, but all will do the job.:thumbsup
The price is up there,,,, but unless you can build your own,,, that is just the way things go.
WISHING YOU BEST.............................. and :welcome

Hmmm...they look pretty nice, much nicer(or at least a bit bigger) than most the prefabs here in the US.
I'd still be leery of the size, runs are huge but coops are rather small,
mihgt be fine in your climate.
Those pull out trays rarely make the grade in real life.

I'm intrigued by the ventilation 'chimney', saw another one here recently, I wonder how well they really work?

Welcome to BYC!
