Advice on removing ducks fake eggs

Hey so basically my duck use to have some laying issues so our vet told us to make her sit on nest and when she starts to incubate she will stop laying and rest (FYI: the eggs are fake and won’t hatch) and thankfully that has happened and she has been doing exactly that she sits on her nest for the whole day and gets up to eat drink and play a little but then goes running back to her eggs. I wanted to ask how can i get her back to normal without getting stressed that i have taken the eggs away will she start to look for them or be stressed or will she forget about them? Is there a way to do it slowly for her not to realize that her nest is no more? Also if I don’t remove them will she just keep sitting on them? I want her to be able to go back to playing all the time and roaming around but I’m scared that one day when she’s gets up to eat and i remove the nest she will cry out to them or will get super stressed out.

Just take them away, full stop. It is your job as her caretaker. Don't sweat it - she won't.
