Hello All,
After very long wait one of my three Wyandottes finally started laying two weeks ago in the cold of winter. She laid in the nesting box and we had an egg almost every day. This week we had fewer eggs and while filling their feed I could see that one of our young cats appeared to have been sleeping in the nesting boxes!
I checked the yard and found 4 eggs in a large planter I use for growing eggs!
This morning I watched and though the cats were in the house my girl laid in the planter again.
A) how do I stop the cats getting in the coupe?
B) how do I encourage my girl to start laying in the coupe again?
Ant suggestion would be gratefulu received
