It's been really fun for me to see her so excited about the chickens. She is the most giving person I have ever known. She virtually never asks for anything for herself. Being able to build the coop so she can get her chickens has been so much fun for me. Getting the chicks on her birthday is an added bonus.

A few new addtions! More pics today! Here is the Grit Feeder...

Easy to make! They love it...

Pine branches in run for roosts...they love it! They all take an afternoon nap on them now!

A seat for me to hang out with my peeps...folded and hung up so they can't poop on it, lol...

Since I only have six chicks, I only need two nesting boxes but I have three...so one is repurposed (close to the electric outlet for winter heater plug-in) for the chicken waterer...and they can't sit on top of it...and gives chicks more floor space in the coop itself...
