I'm in Dothan. I have 5 hens and 1 rooster. Perfect except that I live "in town" and my rooster(formerly known as Dottie) alerts the neighborhood of daybreak and mid-morning and lunch time and squirrel(I think he's watched the dog too much). Thanks to this chicken community I have learned so much.

Does anyone have any hatching bantam eggs for sale for a reasonable price? I'm preferably looking for bearded Silkies, but I'm open to other options. My Silkie hens have been broody for almost 2 months now, so I've finally decided I want to let them hatch something.

IM inthe Nw corner of alabama farely new to the area been here 4 years. Originally from Buffalo NY. I have silkies and sultans, heritage turkeys and getting some peacocks. Also have 1 goose and two snowy mallard drakes.
Do you guys ever have a greet with all these people from around here?
