Alfalfa Cubes for Goats...no hay?

We are in the process of fencing off part of our pasture so they can eat all the weeds, grass, and oak leaves they want, while being protected from coyotes. Right now, they have individual stalls (until Shasta is castrated) with an area to get outside and enjoy the sun. However, I am almost always with them in the pasture. They absolutely love it. I just had a week off for spring break, so they are getting spoiled, lol. They sure do love the new oak leaves, it's a big hit! I am hoping that will bring feed costs down for us. I think we also need a better feeder. They are just eating out of horse grain buckets right now, and they are pretty wasteful. It's a work in progress for sure. :) Good luck chickylou!
