All advice for raising ducklings please

how tall should the water container/holes be that they can reach it? I don't want to make it too low but also don't want it too high that they can't reach down in it. :)
I start with a smaller butter container then as the grow I go to the next size
The first 3-4 days I also keep a chicken water one in there to make sure there is always water
@Miss Lydia also used Tupperware and cuts lids
She may have photos to share

Hi
Super exciting that you are going to hatch ducklings (I have 1 call duck egg in the incubator right now she is on day 9 we are picking up some more eggs today, why do they take so long to hatch :he:lau)
Some breeds take longer or shorter to hatch bantam duck breeds like the Call duck take 26 days to hatch but other breeds like the Muscovy duck take 32 to 35 days
Here are some websites that I always read (multiple times) before hatching ducklings

https://www.tyrantfarms.com/how-to-raise-ducklings-a-step-by-step-guide/

https://www.fresheggsdaily.blog/2012/02/basic-duckling-care-raising-healthy.html?m=1

And here is a site I read before hatching (it does not say anything about bantam breeds taking less time) also they say cool for 10 minutes but I do 15 minutes (the room my incubator is in is always 14 to 15 celsius)

Good luck with you egg-venture

21 days for chicken eggs kill me!!!! I have no idea how I am going to handle 28 (or so) days for duck eggs!!!!

These are from a mixed flock so I have no idea what breeds they are from.... Hopefully they take the 28 days.
