Hello, Can someone spell out for me how you pronounce "COTURNIX). I know I am no where close to pronouncing it right so would like to know how to say it.
I don't have any Quail yet but this is the kind i think I want to start with.

Nice... I had 14 Gamble Quail eggs and only ended up with 2 hatching...

Here on this island, I paid $25 each for 4 hens and 2 rooster quail. Its been fun. I set up my incubator last night.

At those prices you will re-coop your money quickly and turn a profit since these quail are so prolific. Good luck with your hatch!

so jealous... I really want valley quail but cant seem to find any local and eggs are expensive. I'm getting 20 bobwhite chicks today though

Bobwhite are beautiful I have a pair or snowflake and regular bobwhite... They started laying 4 days ago... After waiting 20 weeks... Once my valley quail start to lay I'll make sure to let u know and I'll send you some...good luck with the little babies keep them warm...
