This "thread" goes back to 2008 with over 2,300 families experiencing issues with their city ordinances barring them from raising their own food on their own property. There are already over 50 posts from May of this year (2023.)
Almost everyone posting here is seeking a way to fight their city ordinance AGAINST backyard chickens and win. You know the old saying, "You can fight city hall, but you can't win!" Has anyone won the battle?

There's a line that I border, so me and everyone east have two acres. There are cows, chickens, peacocks, you name it!
West of my property there is a tiny development and I understand they have an HOA. Not sure what rules they have to follow and don't really care.
I have also seen the Sherriff post on social media to not call them about firearm discharge in this area because it's rural county and there's no prohibition of such.
I have a Indian Runner hen who thinks that she's a call duck!
