Ameraucanas?

Cull all the cockerels with autosomal red and gold leakage in the neck. I think that puts you to a splash and black cockerel. You could rotate those over the pullets to find which throws better chicks then cull the other. Go from there.
Thanks for the feedback. I won’t be culling any of them though, they have their own bachelor flock. I was just curious about quality as I might use one of them for breeding in the future.

This is the other blue pullet. There’s 2, this is the smaller, flightier one. Her name’s Satin.

And this is the one in the first post again, her name is Chenille.

It’s hard to get good pictures because they’re kinda scared of me, but I’ll try bribing them.

Are the black ones very similar quality do you think, or is one noticeably better quality? One has a greenish sheen, and the other is more blue.

According to the breed standard, the green sheen should be selected for.
I like blue sheen and am playing with it in a project... but Ameraucana should be green. Supposedly it comes with better (smoother) feather quality.
They look really similar otherwise, especially with the same background.

Greens tail is set a little lower than Blues. It might be better or worse, I'm bad with angles.
