this year's babies will probably start laying next spring. which is probably a good thing.. don't need any more baby's nine little ones are enough

I have one spoiled saxony duckling

I have one juvenile and a couple 2 week-olds.

They were getting moved, they don't live in the tub. This is Peggy Sue (Saxony) and Daffy (unknown breed, my son's duck):

2 Saxony, 2 Runner, 2 Pekin.

Very cute! Your sons duck looks like it might have saxony in it. How do you like the breed so far? This is my first one. Her buddy is a call duck, will be funny to see them together when she is grown! Hopefully its a she, I'm looking for a good egg layer!

I'm not sure what my son's duck is. The eggs were a gift from a friend across the country. Thought it was a rouen mix, either way, my son adores him.

I love my Saxonies. They are very sweet and mellow. Hoping to build up a decent breeding group this season.
